Anglican Psalm CHANTS

Announcing the publication of The Ancient Groove Big Book of Anglican Chant. The first volume contains over 600 double chants, by more than 240 composers, representing the core repertoire from the 18th through to the early 20th century.

It includes chants by chief exponents of the genre, such as Thomas Attwood, Joseph Barnby, John Goss, Frederick Gore Ouseley, Henry Smart, John Stainer, James Turle, Thomas Walmisley, Richard Woodwood; as well as other chants by well-known and little-known composers; and rare examples of the chant form.
